Career Aspirations 2010
Keen to visit University to explore possible careers which would involve a qualification in maths. First choice a maths teacher and possibly a Director at some stage or an Accountant.

2011

Emilse Palma is studying Public Accountancy. This course prepares students for work in a range of areas,
such as the design and evaluation of the planning and control aspects of both public and private organisations and the formation, transformation and dissolution of companies. They will also be able to assume responsibility for
the implementation of administrative and accountancy procedures and structures and the fiscal evaluation of projects within the organizations in which they work.  Students also learn a little about the justice system and the necessary research skills which they will need throughout their careers. Modules are broad-ranging over the five-year degree and include mathematics, economics, statistics and fiscal legislation.

Lifetime Aspirations
To follow a career and earn enough to form a safe and secure family environment for my future children.
To have a job I enjoy in a school helping young people and putting my knowledge and learning to good use.

Personal Comments
I am living with my mother, sister and two brothers, we have little since my parents seperated.

How will you use your talents to help the community?
To help my family and the children born into this community. I would like to work with their mothers but the children will be my priority.

How is the Foundation helping you?
It is helping me by providing a quiet place to study and is helping me access more lessons at no cost. It is demonstrating that young people can reach their dreams and is protecting our future.
