Florencia Soto is studying Business Administration. Students on this degree programme gain a strong skill set and a broad knowledge which they can apply to careers in any organization, public or private. They will be able to develop business strategies, design business plans and projects, lead organizations and implement company policy, establishing aims and objectives. Florencia will learn how to formulate, develop and evaluate administrative structures and procedures and how these support decision-making processes within an organization. She will also be able to evaluate the social impact of decisions, understanding their ethical implications and the effect on the quality of life of colleagues. Over the five-year course, individual modules include Mathematics, Civil Law, Economics and Accountancy for Administrators.

How will you use your talents to help the community?
I can show people that it is possible to achieve if you believe you can and I will do what I can to help people achieve their dreams.

How is the Foundation helping you?
I found it very difficult to adapt , felt alone, now I feel different about myself. It was difficult to overcome the financial and emotional barriers. The Fundacion is helping me with transport, photocopying and resources and gives me money for lunch at university which I would not have otherwise. I know feel I can achieve everything I want if I confront the obstacles in my path.
