Career Aspirations
I would like to be a teacher, possibly of Spanish, and I would also like to write stories.

Romina Peralta is studying Literature.
Students learn how to analyse processes of reading, writing and oral expression, as well as being able to engage critically with literary and social discourse. At the end of the course, Romina could hold a position as a literary
critic or an editor. She will also have the ability to design programmes for the development of knowledge in areas of literature and linguistics. Modules on this degree include Greek and Latin Literature, Grammar, Latin American
Literature and Thought, Literary Theory and Research Methodology.

Lifetime Aspirations
I imagine myself with a qualification, teaching with lots of happy students. I also see my self as a wife and mother working hard to keep everyone well and happy. I would like to give my children the chance to qualify too.

Personal Comments
I live with my grandmother and aunt, my mother has gone away and my father now has another family.

How will you use your talents to help the community?
I would like to teach within my community and bring my services to help the community

How is the Foundation helping you?
The Foundation is helping me understand what the colleges and university are offering and what I could study which I didn’t know before, and is facilitating a way in for me. It is also good meeting the other young people, having help with English and maths, It is giving me everything I need and I am very grateful, Thankyou for helping us.
