London 2011: ‘How Young People Can Impact On Their Communities’

It is our intention to use these conferences to bring together the representatives of our Family of Schools to discuss the issues facing young people in disadvantaged communities across the world.

If you want to get involved in any of the ways outlined below contact us at schools@davidmatherfoundation.org

How can you get involved?

  • Schools
We will be looking to host our inaugural conference in London early in 2011.

We would want you to send a group of young people to represent your school and to participate in making decisions about the future direction of our charity.

We would also hope that the conference can impact upon the decisions and thinking of other charities involved in helping young people across the world.

  • UniversitiesJoin our Universities Partnership
We would like you to join our Universities Partnership, supporting the work we are doing in Argentina.

    Deliver a paper
We would also like to invite Graduates, who are active in fields that will have future impact on the lives of young people to deliver a paper to the conference.

Please submit your papers to the charity at the address provided. A panel of representatives from Universities and Charities will decide which papers will be delivered to the conference. All applicants will be informed of their outcome. If you are unsuccessful we will, unfortunately, be unable to return your paper.

  • BusinessSponsor our Conference
We are looking for companies who would be prepared to sponsor our conference in London. We would expect those involved to gain positive publicity and to participate in an exciting and vibrant event hosted by talented young people.

    Deliver a paper
How can young people work with business to make the world a better place?

  • CharitiesJoin our Conference Team
We are looking to find a strategic partner to work with us in the delivery of our conference programme. Ideally a charity working with young people in the U.K.

    Deliver a paper
Give your charity’s view of the best way for young people to support less fortunate peoples around the world.
