Fundraising

Fundraising events help the David Mather Foundation both by spreading awareness, and by raising the contributions that keep our project going.

It’s brilliant to spread the word about our work and people have already had some fantastic ideas. For example, if you are a school student you could sell cakes or Foundation t-shirts at your next school play or sports day; if you’re a business you could hold a dress-down day; and if you’re an individual you could do a sponsored run or bike ride.

Its up to your imagination to decide what kind of event you want to do but please get in touch and let us know, and we’ll help you to think up ideas and plan too.

We will always provide to our fundraisers:

• Free David Mather Foundation t-shirts (see right)
• Leaflets and information packs to hand out to guests
• Donation forms to use at the event
• A shout out on the website to make sure everyone knows what you’re up to
• Photo of you alongside your story on our website and in
  the next newsletter
• Some support because we’ll want to come along to
  your event too!
